Ford Endeavour Petrol
The new engine is a 2.3-litre Turbo Ecoboost Engine which produces around 455 Nm of peak torque at a maximum power output of 275 PS. Ford Endeavour petrol might be a car that might fill in the gap in the current lineup. There is only one engine on the current Ford Endeavour.
Why Petrol?
The current generation Ford Endeavour only comes in the diesel variant in India.
However, the current BS6 emission norms have reduced the gap between petrol and diesel engine. This has forced companies to shut down production of their Diesel-powered cars. The Ford Endeavour Petrol might be car that will help Ford win the sales of petrol buyers in the market.
Ford Endeavour is currently sold as a petrol and diesel variant in global markets. There is no decision about the petrol engine’s arrival to India and we will have to wait for the company to declare.

Ford Endeavour Competition
The main market rival of Ford Endeavour is the Toyota Fortuner and has remained for a very long time. Currently, Toyota offers both petrol and diesel engine on the Fortuner. A 2.7 litre 2 wheel drive petrol engine and a 2.8 litre 4 wheel drive diesel engine. Moreover, you get both manual and automatic versions to choose from. The new variant of the Ford Endeavour is also more affordable by 1.45 lakh after the BS6 update with the 2.
