Toyota Fortuner Facelift Unveiled Globally

The much-awaited version of the Toyota Fortuner Facelift has been unveiled globally. The car is a mildly facelifted version of the current generation of the Fortuner. This same design will be brought to India along. The features list is expected to change!

Global Price

The prices mentioned below are from the Thailand launch. They have been converted to the Indian Currency approximately.

The Global price of the Toyota Fortuner Facelift is Rs 31.44 Lakhs approximately. The topmost variant will be priced at Rs 35.90 lakhs. They also unveiled the Toyota Fortuner Legender for Rs 37 Lakhs approximately. The price for the Indian Toyota Fortuner will be slightly lower. The car will launch in India in the year 2021.

Currently, the existing Toyota Fortuner has got a price update and now retails at Rs 30.24 lakhs. The global price of the Toyota Fortuner is for Thailand where the launch to has taken place.

Toyota Fortuner Facelift Engine

The Toyota Fortuner Facelift gets 2 diesel engines. One is a 2.4-litre diesel engine which produces 150 BHP and a torque of 400 Nm. The other engine is offered on the Legender is the 2.8-litre diesel which makes a power of 208 BHP and a torque of 500 Nm.

These engines are offered with the 6-speed automatic gearbox and the option of 4×2. There will also be a 4×4 with the manual. The Legender comes with the added features as mentioned below

Toyota Fortuner Legender

The Toyota Fortuner Legender was priced at Rs 37 lakhs approximately . It offers the most premium features along with a powerful engine options. It also has a different design as shown below

The Car gets added features to the regular Toyota Fortuner. It also gets a different Instrument cluster and a different design for the alloy wheels.

Toyota Fortuner Facelift Features

The features offered on this Facelift are the bi-LED headlights. There is a new grill along with the bumper and side steps. The taillights also have been redesigned. The car is being offered with a 360-degree camera and a new Touch Screen system. This also has the Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The centre dash gets a wireless charging system and the AC vents have been also redesigned.

The Fortuner Facelift also gets a hands free tailgate system which was missing for a very long time. The instrument cluster has undergone an upgrade and there have been minor design upgrades to the interior.

Safety Features

For Safety features Fortuner gets the Toyota Safety Sense. It also gets automatic braking and lane departure. This is guided with a radar cruise control and automatic steering wheel delay. It also gets lane-keeping assistance.

The car also comes with the complete Airbags setup and the electronic braking as seen on the previous cars. This Facelift of the Toyota Fortuner allows it to be one of the most updated cars in its segment. The launch was also accompanied by the launch of the Toyota Hilux pickup truck. There are no plans for Toyota India to introduce this to India.
