Datsun has not quite established itself in the market right now. Although the Redi Go from the company has become very popular and is the flagship product of the company.

The 2020 Datsun Redi Go is expected to come with a major facelift. Datsun has released a few teaser pictures that give you an idea of what the car will look like. The variants of the car have also been released. Here is the variant wise breakdown of the car.

2020 Datsun Redi Go variants

The Datsun 2020 Datsun Redi Go will be offered in a total of four variants which are the D, A, T and T(O).

Redi Go ‘D’

This will come with only an 800cc engine with a five-speed gearbox. It will get features like 14-inch steel wheels, halogen headlamps, tinted glass, and intermittent wipers, remote fuel lid opener.

Redi G0 ‘A’

The ‘A’ variant will get additional features like power steering, manually controlled air conditioner, folding rear seats, engine immobiliser, tachometer, passenger-side sun visor, and body-coloured bumpers.

Redi GO ‘T’

The ‘T’ variant will get features such as central locking, remote locking, a 2-DIN audio system that offers FM, Aux, USB input and Bluetooth, single colour 14-inch wheel covers, fabric insert on front door trims, and body-coloured outside door handles.

Redi Go ‘T(O)’

The top-of-the-line variant of the 2020 Datsun Redi Go will be getting two engines. The 800 cc as well as the 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine. It will also get an automatic option in the 1.0-litre variant. Additionally, it is loaded with features such as a front passenger airbag, LED DRLs, an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear-view camera, LED fog lamps, power windows at the front, dual-tone 14-inch full-wheel covers, LED tail lamp inserts, internally adjustable outside rearview mirrors which are also coloured to match the body colour of the car.

2020 Datsun Redi Go engine

The Datsun Redi Go will come powered by an 800cc three-cylinder petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual as standard. This engine produces 54 bhp and 72 nm of torque. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder motor will continue to be offered as before with the five-speed manual and the five-speed AMT. This engine produces 67 bhp and 91 nm of torque. Both the engines will now be BS6 compliant.

2020 Datsun Redi Go design

From the teaser images we can establish that the Datsun Redi Go will get separate LED DRLs. The front of the car will get sleek headlamps along with DRLs beneath them. It gets L shaped DRLs alone with the headlamps swooping backwards and the grille will become bigger so as to impose more road presence in the car.
