It’s the most affordable TVS Apache with the smallest displacement in the entire Apache range. The bike comes with 160 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine. The engine produces around 15.1 bhp max power and 13.9 Nm of peak torque. The engine then comes mated with a 5-speed gearbox. Talking about the looks, it’s a bit old design now but still comes with LED DRL’s, LED taillamps and nice funky colour options which really keep the bike still lovable. The bike features semi-digital instrument cluster, single-channel ABS, clip-on handlebars and also TVS’s GTT function that allows the bike to crawl in the traffic without the use of the clutch. The claimed top speed of the bike is at 110 km/hr.

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V

TVS Apache RTR 16 4V currently is like a hot cake for the manufacturer. The bike is considered as the best value for money in the segment. It comes with 160 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected, oil-cooled engine. The engine produces around 15.6 bhp max power and 14.12 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated with a 5-speed gearbox. The design language of the bike is similar to the bigger Apache RTR 200 4V, it gets very aggressive design language with all-LED headlamps, LED taillamps and LED pilot lamps. The bike features a fully-digital instrument cluster, single-channel ABS, TVS’s GTT function. The bike also comes with the mono-shock suspension at the rear which was missing in the Apache RTR 160. However, the Apache RTR 160 4V misses out on clip-on handlebars which would have enhanced the sportier dynamics.

It’s also one of the old Apache. The bike has design language similar to Apache RTR 160 but has a slightly bigger engine. The engine is now a 177 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected, oil-cooled engine. It churns out nearly 16.3 bhp max power and 15.5 Nm of peak torque. A gearbox is a five-speed unit. The features are similar to the Apache RTR 160 i.e semi-digital instrument cluster, single-channel ABS, clip-on handlebars, GTT function. Previously, the bike was the most affordable dual-channel equipped motorcycle. However, due to the higher price tag after BS6 norms, the manufacturer decided to reduce it to the single-channel ABS. Nevertheless, the bike still has good value for money.

It comes mated with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. The bike comes with very advanced techs such as LCD TFT instrument cluster, ride modes such as urban, rain, sports, track. The bike also comes with dual-channel ABS, Michellin Road 5 tyres, race-tuned KYB suspension, dual-channel ABS, split seats and many more. The top speed of the bike is claimed is at 160 km/hr.
