Fiat has revealed the official image of the new Toro pick-up truck, which is slated to debut in February 2016 in Brazil. The new pic reveals a little more about the truck than the first teaser image.

The Toro has a length of 4.9 meters and the payload capacity is one tonne. Fiat also says that the truck accomodate upto five passengers and provide the comfort of a luxury car.

The pickup will be equipped with a 1.8-litre E-torq petrol engine. The rated power is 13obhp with ethanol and the torque is 191Nm. The diesel version is equipped with a 2.0-litre 16v turbo engine that makes 167bhp of maximum power at 3750 rpm and a massive 350Nm of peak torque at 1750 rpm.

The Toro will have four powertrain configurations. The petrol with the E-torq engine will be available only with the six-speed automatic transmission and a 4×2 version. The diesel will have three options. One with manual shift six-speed with 4×2, a six-speed manual option with 4×4 and the top line with a nine-speed automatic transmission and 4×4.

Fiat will be developing a new SUV that will be manufactured in India under the Jeep brand. This new SUV will be based on the Fiat Toro pick-up, codenamed 551. The SUV will be launched sometime in 2017.
