Kia Seltos vs Mahindra XUV 300 Comparison

The Kia Seltos and the Mahindra XUV 300 do not look like cars that can be conventionally put together. The Kia Seltos is a vehicle that sits in the compact SUV segment. Features

The XUV300 has a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen while the Seltos gets an eight-inch one. Both the cars get Apple Car Play, and Android Auto, reverse parking sensors, projector headlamps, cruise control, steering mounted controls, safety features like ABS and EBD. The XUV gets some more features on it with the compromise on the size. The XUV300 gets 7 airbags, a sunroof, front parking airbags, XUV gets leatherette seats, heated ORVMs, dual-zone climate control. The XUV 300 does not get rear ac vents while the Seltos gets them.

Practicality

This is where the big size of the Kia Seltos comes into the picture. The XUV 300 gets 180 mm of ground clearance while the Kia Seltos gets 190mm. The legroom in the Kia Seltos is also more than that of the XUV. The boot space is also one area where the Kia Seltos leads by getting 440 litres, while the XUV only gets 265 litres which is a big disadvantage. Overall the Kia Seltos will be more comfortable for long journeys.

Brand value

The service network of the Mahindra is higher throughout the country as it is a much bigger brand than Kia and has been existing in the Indian market for a long time as well. The build quality of the XUV is also better as it is a Mahindra. Kia has been facing some problems with service and the accidental repairs have been taking longer than other car manufacturers.

Therefore, if you want a feature-packed car and the brand reliability along with the amazing service network then the XUV 300 will be the choice to go. If you want more practicality and better cabin space then the Seltos will be a better pick.
