The TVS Zest 110 is a scooter from the company which also has Jupiter. If you look at TVS line up of non-gear motorcycles then they have a complete setup from a moped to a 125cc sporty scooter.

The TVS Zest 110 BS6 has now been teased for joining the lineup in 110 avatars. So let’s find out if you are the one who should choose the TVS over the TVS Jupiter.

What will be the TVS Zest 110 BS6?

The TVS Zest 110 BS6 will be a scooter with a lot of fancy colours and fibre body. There will be plastic panels instead of the metal ones on the TVS Jupiter. The mains change is expected on the engine. The engine will be seen with a fuel injection system to make it BS6 compliant. The BS6 engine on the bike will be seen to have a much more constant power delivery. Even the throttle response will be good.

In terms of safety, we will get to see some combi braking system. There will be anti-skid tyres on the bike as well a side stand indicator. The offering of a disc brake on the bike will also be a rare offering.
Features of the scooter might include an external fuel filling lid. The headlight is to be LED but that might see a change on account of cost-cutting. The instrument cluster won’t is a digital one as this scooter is placed below the Jupiter which misses out on a digital instrument cluster.

This scooter will be as basic as a 110 cc scooter from TVS can be. So then the question is who will buy this scooter.

For whom is the TVS Zest 110 BS6?

The TVS Zest 110 BS6 gets fancy decals and bubble gum colours now. This will continue on the new scooter. We also expect a matte colour on this as a premium colour add on. All this makes this scooter for all those who are looking to buy a two-wheeler for the first time. The TVS Zest BS6 will also have a low seat height and this will be the exact kind of scooter that won’t intimidate short riders. The weight also won’t bother as it will have plastic panels. The only problem it would cause is the scratches.

What are the changes in Engine?

The engine of the old BS4 scooter was a 109cc engine. It produced a power of 8 bhp and a torque of 8.5 Nm. The engine was fuel-efficient and gave a mileage of around 60 km/l. With the new Fuel injection system, all this will become more constant and we might see a change in the mileage of the scooter.

As of the price of the scooter, it was previously priced at Rs 54,025 for the regular variant and the Himalayan High series retailed at Rs 52,525. This will definitely see some increase on account of the BS6 engine. For now, we will have to wait and see what the actual scooter is like to get more firm on the features part.
