VW Nivus SUV – Coming to India?

Volkswagen has given out the new details about the Nivus SUV. The company has revealed the vehicle partially. Volkswagen had also announced that the car will be first introduced in South America and then brought to other markets. VW Nivus SUV Design

Being an SUV it will carry on with the new SUV design language of Volkswagen. The VW Nivus SUV is an SUV coupe this means a sloping roofline like a coupe will be there at the rear giving it the characteristic look. It might also resemble the VW Taigun at places and both these cars will share a design. Another interesting fact about the vehicle will be that this will be the first car to get the new VW logo.

What platform will VW Nivus SUV use?

The VW Nivus SUV will make use of the MQB A0 platform. This is shared with Taigun as well as the international version of the Polo called the Virtus Sedan. The dimension of this SUV are out and they are as mentioned in the table below.

The features of that will be available on the Nivus will be the flagship. The car will have an 8-inch touchscreen system. It won’t skip on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connect. There will be adaptive cruise control and adaptive autopilot and adaptive braking. All of these technologies are AI-based and will require good road condition to operates.
