The Kia Seltos has been doing rounds for its success in the country. The car has been featured in the overall top ten selling cars in the country. This is despite the car being more of a premium offering than a budget one. The company has enjoyed major success in its first product and this has happened due to the car being feature-rich and the aggressive price point. The company had also made a smart move and offers the Kia Seltos in a total of 24 variants that is staggering. In this article, we explain all the Kia Seltos Variants and tell about the features and safety offered on them.

Kia Seltos Tech Line

The Tech line has all the Kia seltos variants of the HT suffix. All of the variants in the Tech line are available with 1.5-litre petrol producing 114 bhp and 144 nm or a 1.5-litre diesel producing 114 bhp and 250 nm. Both these are mated to a six-speed manual and the diesel is mated to a torque converter automatic while the petrol gets a CVT option. The HTK+ and the HTX+ get the diesel automatic variants while the HTX variant gets the petrol CVT option. The rest get only manual variants. The HTX+ also does not come with a petrol engine.

HTE

This is the standard variant of the Seltos which comes with features such as ABS with EBD, dual airbags, all-disc brakes, projector headlamps, skid plates, manual AC, rear AC vents, power windows, keyless entry, steering mounted audio control, power windows, rear parking sensors, 3.8-inch 2DIN audio with Bluetooth and four speakers.

HTK

This variant also gets features such as projector fog lamps, electrically adjustable ORVM, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, rear-view camera, six speakers (including tweeters), front tray USB charge.

HTK plus

All the features of Kia Seltos HTK as well as 16-inch hyper metallic alloy wheels, heartbeat LED DRLs, smart key with push-button start, auto cruise control, LED sound mood lights, rear defogger and auto light control.

HTX

All the features of Kia Seltos HTK as well as 17-inch hyper metallic alloy wheels, high line TPMS, crown jewel LED headlamps, heartbeat LED DRLs and tail lamps, ice cube LED fog lamps, dual muffler design, 10.25-inch HD touchscreen navigation, UVO Connect system, smart pure air purifier, black and beige 2-tone interior and leatherette seats, fully automatic AC and rear door sun-shade curtain.

HTX plus

All the features of Kia Seltos HTX, as well as electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, 8-way driver power seat, Bose premium 8 speaker sound system, front parking sensors, 7.0-inch colour display and a smartphone wireless charger.

Kia Seltos GT line

While the GT line gets the same 1.5 litre diesel as the Tech line, this can only be mated to an automatic gearbox. However, in the petrol option, it comes with the 1.4 litre turbo petrol. This engine produces 138 bhp and 242 nm of torque and is mated to either a manual or a seven-speed DCT variant. Therefore for enthusiasts, this is the engine to go for. The GTK plus variant gets the option of the DCT. Meanwhile, the GTX plus variant gets the DCT petrol as well as the diesel automatic and is the only variant available with a diesel engine. These make for the sporty version of the Kia Seltos Variants.

GTK

ABS with EBD, dual airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, 17-inch crystal cut alloy wheels, crown jewel LED headlamps, heartbeat LED DRLs, ice cube LED fog lamps, heartbeat LED tail lamps, electrically adjustable ORVM, leather-wrapped D-cut steering wheel with GT Line logo, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, six speakers (including tweeters), fully automatic AC, LED sound mood lights, smart key with push-button start, black leatherette sports seats with red stitching.

GTX

All the features of Kia Seltos GTK as well as side and curtain airbags, high line TPMS, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), HAC (Hill Hold Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), red brake calliper (front), multi-drive modes and multi traction modes (DCT only), 10.25-inch HD touchscreen navigation, UVO Connect system, smart pure air purifier, smart 8.0-inch HUD (Head-Up Display), 7.0-inch colour display, ambient mood light, beige leatherette sports and solar glass – UV cut.

GTX plus

All the features of Kia Seltos GTX as well as electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, 8-way driver power seat, BOSE premium 8 speaker sound system, 360-degree camera surround view monitor, blind view monitor in cluster LCD and front parking sensors.

Kia Seltos pricing and competition
