Hyundai Creta Engines
So if you are a buyer who is buying the car for purely the engine factors then there is a lot of confusion too. To give you an idea there are three engine options on the vehicle – 1.5 Petrol and Diesel along with the enthusiast favourite 1.4-litre Turbo Petrol. To add to this there are 2 gearboxes on the 1.5 petrol and diesel. The Turbo petrol gets a DCT transmission and does not have a manual option. So now if you go for the Hyundai Creta Variant E then you don’t have any option of other engines except the Manual diesel This is the most basic model that you can get. The EX and the S model includes the Petrol manual and the Diesel manual too. If you want to have all the engine options open then the SX model is the model for you. But the SX(O) model skips on the 1.5 Petrol Manual engine.
So now once you have decided which engine you want to go for then here is a list of the features offered on each of the variants. Also, each of the variants will have certain skips on the safety features too. So choose the one you want carefully

To start with it will get you the option of the Manual Petrol Variant. The regular antenna on the E variant now changes into a Shark Fin antenna. In a way, the E variant of the vehicle is to keep the ex-showroom price below 10 lakhs to as an introductory price. The EX variant is where the actual Hyundai Creta variants start with both the engines paired to manual gearboxes. This is the variant where you can opt for the infotainment systems too. It gets a 20cm touchscreen system but it misses out on BlueLink features. There is BlueTooth, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. All this can be controlled with a voice recognition software.
