Here are 10 upcoming cars that are confirmed for this year. Now obviously many of these cars were due for a launch in April and the respective launches have gotten delayed. So the exact dates for the launches of all the cars will not be precise due to the ongoing virus but hopefully all the said cars will be launched by the end of this year.

Force new Gurkha

The new Gurkha has been spotted testing a number of times on the Indian roads now and a many people are awaiting the launch since the car gets a lot of changes to it. The new car gets a new DRL setup on the outside as well as a touchscreen infotainment system on the inside. The car is expected to launch in June.

Tata Gravitas

The Tata Gravitas is the second car to be based on the omega platform and it will be a proper seven seater SUV by Tata along with the new powerful 170 bhp diesel engine. the design of the gravitas is also completely new and looks different from the Harrier.

Kia Sonet

Kia’s next product that has highly been anticipated will be the Sonet which will complete in the sub compact SUV with the likes of the Hyundai Venue and the Tata Nexon. This segment has been gaining a lot of popularity and lot of other manufacturers such as Skoda and VW will also bring on their cars in this segment.

Renault HBC

This will be based on the CMFA platform and get a 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine. The car will be a sub compact SUV and compete with the likes of the Venue.

Skoda Karoq

The Skoda Karoq will be a compact SUV offering from. Skoda which will rival the likes of the MG Hector and the jeep compass.the car will be brought in via the CBU route like the launched T Roc and is expected to come in with a lot of features. Tucson facelift.

The major news about this car is that the production is expected to be localised which will really help bring the costs of production to be lower for this car and therefore it will be able to compete against many cars who are priced lower as of now. The new Hyundai i20 was expected to be launched in India by August. But due to the virus the launch has now been postponed. The car gets a completely new interiors as well as design changes.

Maruti XL5

The Maruti XL5 is a premium Wagon R. It will get some new features than the Wagon R  and also it will get major redesign from the front as well. The car will be sold through the Nexa showrooms.

Tata HBX

The Tata HBX was showcased in the Auto Expo with the company saying that the car is 90% ready for production. This is a car which is not really confirmed for a launch in the new it will be mostly launched early next year. It will be the micro SUV from Tata and will sit below the Tata Nexon.

This is a much hyped up car and is expected to bring in a lot of sales for Tata.
