So why do we have that kind of belief? well, we have the answer for it. Let’s read the full blog and we’ll be answering the question.

Exterior Design / Looks

Exterior looks are the most important factor for any kind of vehicle or even for any product. First of all, we have to understand that Kia is very brilliant at design. They manufacture the car that is pretty much 80-85 percent similar to the concept model. Looking at the concept model, it gets a very nice LED DRls that makes the look aggressive from the front. It gets Kia’s signature tiger-nose grille. From the rear, it had LED taillamps and a long horizontal line element joining both taillamps. The C-pillar is unique in design and is kind of love it or hate it.

The SUV also had roof rails that enhance its practicality as well as looks. If you love the Kia Sonet’s concept model then you will be surely loving the production version as well.

Kia Sonet features

To really stand out in the segment, Kia Sonet has to be something extra than the rivals. The cabin will feature a 10.25-inch infotainment system that has a built-in navigation system. Company has claimed to give it Bose premium audio system and that’s really good. Other features will replicate the trend that is a sunroof, multifunction steering wheel, automatic climate control. It will also be equipped with Kia’s UVO connectivity as well.

Powertrain / Engine options

Kia Sonet is expected to come with BS6 compliant Hyundai Venue’s powertrain options. Hyundai Venue is equipped with 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol, 1.5-litre diesel engine options. 1.2-litre petrol among is the least powerful and produces around 82 bhp max power and 115 Nm peak torque. While the most powerful 1.0-litre turbo-petrol produces around 118 bhp max power and 172 Nm of peak torque.

2-litre petrol), 6-speed manual (1.5-litre diesel, 1.0-litre petrol), 7-speed DCT automatic (1.0-litre petrol).

Price and Rivals

The pricing of the Kia Sonet is expected to be very attractive. We are expecting it to priced between Rs 6.5-11 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is expected to launch in the Q4 of 2020. After the launch, it will be taking on the likings of Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford Ecosport, Mahindra XUV 300 and also the upcoming Nissan’s compact SUV EM2. That’s quite enough Kia Sonet features to have the success in the segment.
