2020 MG Gloster Spied in India (Interior Spyshots)

MG has a great start in India with the MG Hector that they have introduced in the market. They also have proved that they are not lacking on the technology front with all the connected car features that they offered on the MG Hector. The MG Zs EV is one way to tell the world that the company is ready to be future proof. MG now is planning to launch the petrol version of the ZS EV but that vehicle is not the reason you clicked on this article. The Flagship of MG might just come to India. This will be in the form of the 2020 MG Gloster. Recently one of our subscribers has spotted the vehicle in India. Let’s know what the 2020 MG Gloster has to offer.

What is the 2020 MG Gloster?

The 2020 MG Gloster is a full-size SUV. It has a ladder frame body. The vehicle will be placed upon the Hector Plus. The 2020 MG Gloster as shown at the auto expo will be a feature-packed vehicle. The MG Hector itself is a fully packed vehicle and  we can expect more features in it. The vehicle has a light truck platform and has a length of 5005mm. The car is pretty wide with a width of 1932mm. The second row will also be spacious because the wheelbase is 2950mm. These dimensions of the vehicle are larger than most of the full-size SUVs in the market. The surprising part is that the SUV is larger than the Land Cruiser which is one of the largest SUV in the market now.

Design Explained

The design of the vehicle is bold and traditional. This might appeal to a larger audience who were disappointed by the meek look of the MG Hector. The car gets a bold grille and there is chrome at a number of places. The vehicle that was spotted in India has 19-inch wheels. The tyre was chunky with a 255/55 section tyre. The car also has double wishbone suspension which gives it a massive ground clearance of 210mm ground clearance. The vehicle gets multiple seating layouts with 8 seater options too.

The front of the vehicle is different from the new design language on the MG Hector. There are a number of chrome inserts around the LED fog lamps. As the design is bold from the outside so are the interiors rugged.

Interior Spyshots

The interiors of the vehicle were camouflaged but as far as we could see the vehicle there are a lot of premium features. The steering wheel of the vehicle is also fully loaded with buttons on either side. There are also a few buttons on the gear knobs. It’s too early to tell what these buttons will do. We think that this car will get a few drive modes along with a terrain management system.

The doors of the vehicle have a good amount of storage spaces and the vehicle looks pretty spacious. The 2020 MG Gloster is wide from the inside too. Talking about the seat, the front seats have a good amount of bolstering. We hope that the seats also get an electronic adjustment.
