Toyota Innova Crysta has been in India for 15 years now. It did manage to get over 9,00,000 customer in these years. Now to give the tribute to this legendary MPV, Toyota has launched the Innova Crysta Leadership edition. The edition will resemble the success of the MPV and will also attract the Innova lovers to buy one of these. The new trim will also sport some of the modern tweaks and elements that will let the eyes to turn towards the vehicle. Let’s see what all changes and features do we get from this edition.

Powertrain

The powertrain of the Crysta is similar to the regular model. It continues to have a 2.4-litre diesel engine that comes mated with a five-speed manual gearbox. The engine produces nearly 150 bhp max power and 343 Nm of peak torque. It is to be noted that the leadership edition comes with the rear-wheel-drive model only. The engine is, of course, BS6 compliant and is lesser harmful to the environment. The edition is a 7-seter trim and does not get 2.7-litre petrol option. We hope in future Toyota might opt the engine but currently, it’s not an option.

Exterior Tweaks

The leadership edition comes with dual-colour body treatment. From the front, it comes with a really gorgeous bumper that easily distinguishes from the regular model. The wheels are now fully blacked out that makes it even sportier. Rear bumper spoiler and chrome-finished side rocker mould make it appear to be special than the regular trim. It comes two colour variants – red-black and white-black.
