With the launch of the all-new Bajaj Dominar 250, bajaj has surely expanded the Dominar lineup but the BS6 Dominar 400 is yet to be launched. The specifications of the BS6 Dominar 400 are out now and here are the changes that you need to know about new BS6 Dominar 400.

BS6 Dominar 400 Specifications

The bike gets the same 373.3cc single-cylinder engine. There has been no change on the internal specifications of the bike. It still remains the liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine. It also gets a DOHC setup as before. This will keep the engine high revving in nature and will love to go faster as the revs build. The bike also makes use of a triple spark technology which keeps the combustion uniform. As the Bajaj Dominar 250 gets a DTS-i set up which is downgrade from the triple spark. The difference is noticeable in terms of power delivery.

The BS6 Bajaj Dominar 400 will have to adhere to stricter emissions norms. This will definitely see a cut on the power band. The BS6 Dominar 400 will have 40 BHP of power. This will be produced at 8800 rpm instead of 8650 rpm. The torque output on the bike will remain the same. This means that the bike will have to rev more to reach peak power. But also the engine will feel more linear with the peaked up power band. The torque will remain at 7000 rpm. In terms of other additions the bike gets a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch to make those shifts smooth.

BS6 Bajaj Dominar 400 Dimensions

The Bajaj Dominar 400 will have the same dimensions as before. The bike will have a long wheelbase of 1453 mm. Having a long wheelbase and a relaxed rake will make making U-turns a task on this bike. Also the length of this bike is 2156m which is also a problem. The width is also 836 which will make filtering traffic a pain. Although all these extended dimensions make the bike a fun motorcycle to ride along the highway. This characteristic will be maintained on the new BS6 Bajaj Dominar 400.

The bike will have its bassier exhaust note with the twin-barrel exhaust. The wheels of the bike will be diamond-cut alloy wheels. The bike will definitely have dual-channel ABS but there won’t is any SuperMoto Mode as on the KTM.
