The Verna is a mid-size sedan offering by Hyundai. It competes with the likes of the Honda City and the Skoda Rapid in the B-segment sedans in India. The company has plans to launch its facelifted version in India. 2020 Verna changes

From the outside, the 2020 Verna just gets refreshed bumpers and a more aggressive radiator grille along with updated headlights that are now LED units. It also gets new alloys along with a slight change in the design of the rear lights. On the interior, the major change will be the adding of the digital instrument system. The infotainment system is an 8-inch one.

On the engine front, it will get a 1.5 litre naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.0 litre turbo and a 1.5 diesel. The 2020 Verna will also get four transmission options which are a six speed manual, a CVT, a seven-speed DCT and a six-speed AT. These are seen on other cars from the brand like the Venue, the Creta and also on the Kia Seltos.

The top-end variant of the 2020 Verna will have features like LED headlamps, LED tail lights, Twin-tip exhaust outlet, Paddle shifters (exclusively with 1.0L petrol engine), Front parking sensors (exclusively with 1.0L petrol engine), All-black interior with red inserts (exclusively with 1.0L petrol engine), 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with built-in eSIM, Bluelink connected car services.

 Colours

The 2020 Verna will be launched by the end of March. It will be similar to the Hyundai Solaris that is available in Russia. The company is also going to launch the much-awaited new Creta soon march after which the Verna facelift will be launched.
