Citroen has been getting ready for their operations in India. There have been times when the C5 Aircross SUV has been spotted while being tested. Citroen India is expected to start operations post the BS6 deadlines. Now as the deadline is nearing in the company has been seen setting up their new showrooms. Citroen India will be starting its operations with the new outlet in Ahmedabad. This will be operated by Karnavati Wheels. Citroen will keep 5-6 display cars. Citroen India will be based on its ‘La Maison’ theme. La Maison means home in French. For Citroen India, this will be a way they try to create a connection with the french culture to the Indian Customer. It is also expected that Citroen India will provide customers with a lot of customization options. An interactive system will help in the customization process. The whole point is to give an outstanding customer experience. Citroen is planning to have 10 to 15 dealerships in the first phase.
To start with the company is going to sell the C5 Aircross in limited numbers. They have planned to grow steadily with an increase in demand.
Citroen India Plans
The C5 Aircross is an SUV which competes in the hottest segment in India. It has the Hyundai Creta as a strong contender. Also, the MG Hector and the Kia Seltos are 2 new entrants in this segment which make up for some good competition to the C5 Aircross. The company will bring in the C5 Aircross in India which will be heavily localised. It will be tailored to Indian tastes and requirements. It is also expected that the company will bring in 2 new products for India in later stages.
Citroen C5 Aircross Design
The Citroen C5 Aircross will have a split grille at the front. It will be flanked with day time running lights on both sides. The lower part of the grille will have horizontal slats and it will get dual-beam headlamps. The rear end of the vehicle will be boxy with an upright tailgate. The tail lamps will have split LED setups.
C5 Aircross Features
The interiors of the Citroen C5 Aircross will have an 8-inch driver information centre. It will also have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The vehicle will also get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The dual-zone climate control is something we can expect at this price. Also, the international model of the vehicle also gets a hands-free parking system. The car will also see features like grip control and hill descent.
