2020 Honda Xblade BS6 complaint- expected changes

Design/Aesthetics

The 2020 Honda Xblade is expected to possess some of the aesthetic changes compared with BS4 counterpart. The headlamp unit is anticipated to be refreshed with LED DRL’s and other design elements. The body panels might have additional colour options and graphic updates. Overall character look is expected to remain the same as the BS4 counterpart.

Features

The 2020 Honda Xblade might have some of the upgraded features. It is expected to get a new instrument console with some advanced and competitive features. The upcoming Xblade will include the engine kill switch, as it was seen on other BS6 updated Honda bikes.

Engine

The engine is expected to be retained from the BS4 counterpart, however, with the BS6 regulated tweaks. The 2020 Honda Xblade BS6 will possess a fuel-injection system and a BS6 regulated exhaust.

The power is expected to have some drop over the predecessor, however, throttle response is expected to be better due to fuel-injection.

Hardware is supposed to be unchanged and might be retained from BS4 counterpart.

Price is expected to have a hike of Rs 8,000-10,00 over the BS4 counterpart. For reference, the BS4 version costs around Rs 90,797(ex-showroom). It will be competing against TVS Apache RTR 160, Yamaha FZ ,Suzuki Gixxer 155 and upcoming Hero Xtreme 160.
