MG showcased brands MPV offering- 360M at its pavilion at Auto Expo 2020. It will compete against Maruti Ertiga. The MG MPV showcased had plenty of new features including sun-roof. Exterior Design

MG 360M

The MG Ertiga rival certainly has plenty of stylish and modern elements from the outside. It has lots of familiar design elements which are seen on current MG cars. It gets the large honeycomb-like grille with the huge MG badging in the middle. Chrome treatment has been added at the side of the grille. It gets the projector headlamp setup with LED DRL’s outlining the lights.
From the side, it is longer than the Maruti Ertiga. It gets a floating roof along with the roof rails. The handlebars are chrome treated. It has 15-inch wheel rims with an option of diamond cut alloy wheels. The tail-lamp is a split set-up unit.

Interior

The showcased model was a six-seater model, with two pilot seats in the second row. However, the India spec version might have different seating configurations as well. It gets the recliner seats which can be folded to allocate more boot space according to individuals need. It gets plenty of modern features such as floating touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, sunroof and much more.

Engine

MG 360M

The MG Ertiga rival might have similar engine options as the MG Hector. The on-sale MG Hector opts with three powertrains- 1.5-litre turbo petrol, 2.0-litre diesel, 1.5-litre turbo petrol mild-hybrid . The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine produces 141 bhp max power at 5,000 rpm and 250 Nm at 1,600 rpm. While the diesel produces 170 bhp max at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm peak torque at 1,750 rpm. The MG Hector mild-hybrid version produces similar power to the petrol version but gives better fuel economy.

Price

Price is expected to be competitive. It is expected to be priced at Rs 10 lakhs(ex-showroom). Which makes it a close competitor with Mahindra Marazzo and Maruti XL6.
