2020 TVS Zeppelin to skip Auto Expo Launch

TVS has launched the Apache RR 310 BS6. This bike has got minor updates and this has improved the bike significantly. With TVS perfecting their existing products. They will also bring a new product this year. They might bring a cruiser bike. The 2020 TVS Zeppelin was brought to the Auto Expo 2018. This might not launch at the Auto Expo 2020. TVS is skipping the Auto Expo 2020 this year. Only 3 brands are participating at the Auto Expo and the rest 19 brands have decided to skip it. Also at the event for the launch of BS6 Apache RR 310, there was no mention of the launch of a new motorcycle. 

What is Eboost Technology?

The TVS Eboost is somewhat a similar kind of technology.

This will help the 2020 TVS Zeppelin start faster. This will also allow getting more boost as on hybrid vehicle and it will be equipped with a regenerative braking system too. A part of this technology might make it on the production bike. This bike will get a full LED headlamp and all the lights will be LED. The seat on the bike for the rider was plush but the pillion seat was rather small. This was done to maintain the aesthetics on the concept model and it might see some change in the production vehicle. The riders triangle will be relaxed and the footpegs will be forward-set. The 2020 TVS Zeppelin will get bar-end mirrors which will give it a Neo-retro look. The USD forks might be included but they will be smaller in diameter.

Company’s take on 2020 TVS Zeppelin

It is being said that the company is putting a lot of effort into the development of the Zeppelin project. The testing of the vehicle is expected to be seen being tested on Indian Road. The vehicle will also get an ISG (Integrated Starter Generator) with assist Generator.

The Bike is expected to get a 220cc engine which will be inspired by the apache RTR 200 4V engine. The electronic parts will be shared with the Apache too.

The bike will get the SmartConnect system. It will skip on the fancy concepts like HD Camera and adjustable mono-shock which will increase the cost further. Also, the USD forks will be from the RR 310. The bike will get dual-channel ABS as a safety feature.

The engine on this vehicle will be a BS6 compliant engine. This bike will sit above the Apache 200. The price will be competing with the Avenger 220. If Suzuki introduces the Intruder 250 then it might make it a well competitive segment
