So if Honda launches am electric scooter under the name of Honda Activa EV then will it live the reputation of Honda Activa.

The Honda Activa EV launch can be expected by the end of this year. We are hoping that the vehicle is shown as a concept or a prototype at the Auto Expo this year. The Honda Activa EV launch might change the notion of electric vehicles in the market.

The price of the Honda Activa EV will be somewhat in the range of Rs 85,000 to Rs 1 lakh. This is the current pricing of electric scooter in India. The Ather 450 has been a benchmark in the electric scooter market and this might be the product Honda might nail for.

Activa Electric Expected Specifications

The Activa EV might come with a range of 100 km. The scooter will have fast charging. We expect it to charge till 80% within one hour. The top speed is expected to be capped at 80 Km/hr to save battery. The scooter is also expected to have 3 rider modes. This also might get an eco mode because the Activa is equated with the economy and low maintenance costs.

The Honda Activa Electric is also expected to have a digital instrument cluster. This might connect to your smartphone and give u information about the scooter. The battery life and charging status might also be shown on the app. The Activa EV will be seen with LED lights. There a slight chance that Honda might tie-up with some mobile company and provide a touchscreen for the instrument cluster.

The scooter might optimize the storage spaces.
