Nissan Compact SUV teaser announced

Nissan has not been doing well in the SUV market for a long time. They have have been trying to keep with SUV wave in the market. Now they have announced a new product in the market. This New Nissan Compact SUV will take its cues from the Renault Triber.

The vehicle will be the hope for Nissan to come out of the tough times in the auto sector. They are targeting the hottest segment of the year – Compact SUV. This segment has seen 2 new entrants with the Kia Seltos and MG Hector.

Also, the Hyundai Creta has been creating big waves in this segment for a long time. 

Compact SUV Market

Nissan has the Kick and Terrano in the Indian market. Both these SUVs have not been doing well because of the price and cheaper alternatives in the segment. The upcoming Nissan Compact SUV is expected to change that. The Nissan Compact SUV will be packed with features. It will have a lot of fancy quirks to attract customers. 

Nissan also has a lot of globally successful products. Apart from the list of features, the vehicle is expected to have the latest technology.

The teaser image of the vehicle shows a floating roofline as well as bold shoulder lines. The vehicle is expected to have flared wheel arches. 

Engine Options

The engine options of this vehicle are not revealed yet but it is expected that the company might borrow the engine from Renault Triber. Triber has announced the bookings for their new BS6 engine which might be launched soon.

That engine is a direct rival to the Venue and Vitara Brezza. The vehicle will be seen with both diesel and petrol variant to take on to the segment.  We are not sure which segment is this vehicle exactly targeting. The price of the vehicle will also depend upon the competition in the market.
