After the success of MG, many of the Chinese automotive manufacturers have been keen to expand in India. Changan and Haval are at the top of the list. Haval is China-based automotive manufacturer owned by Great Wall Motors. It is been rumoured that it might have Indian debut in 2021 with Haval H2. Haval H2 Engine
Haval H2 international model has a 1.5-litre petrol engine. this engine produces 140 bhp max power and 202 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or optional 6 speed AMT gearbox. It is expected to launch with two or three engines. There might be a 1.0-litre turbo petrol option looking at the trend.

Along with that, it might contain loads of driver-assist features such as start-stop button, key-less passive entry, reverse camera and parking sensors. It is expected have an option of panoramic sunroof, six airbags and six-way electrically adjustable driver seat. It will get a touch screen infotainment system. It will feature dual climate control. It might feature an inbuilt tyre pressure monitoring system. The upholstery is expected to be premium with a leather finish material. However, these features might increase the price of the vehicle.
Considering the competition it will be hard for Haval to enter into the Indian market. Kia Seltos has been dominating the segment for a while due to its attractive pricing and wide range of engine options. Kia Seltos is priced around Rs 9.89 lakhs (ex-showroom). It has 17 different variants with three different engine options. While most of the market is covered by Seltos, Hector and Harrier variants.
