Bajaj Triumph Bike under Rs 2 lakh

Bajaj and Triumph had announced their global alliance in 2017. This till now had not got any products out. Today it was announced that we can expect Triumph to launch a bike that is under Rs 2 lakhs. This Bajaj Triumph bike will make it to showrooms by 2022. Read further to get more idea about what other products can we expect from this joint venture

Bajaj-built Triumph Bike

Along with the under 2 lakh bike, there was also confirmation on other Bajaj Triumph bikes. These will range from 200cc to 750cc. They will also develop a new platform. All these bikes will be based on these platforms.  This joint venture will also result in better design and engineering. The Bajaj triumph bike will be seen in the international markets.

Bike Type

The Bajaj Triumph bike will be a 200cc vehicle. This will be mostly an adventure comeback. Bajaj will make use of Triumphs expertise in making a capable adventure like the tiger. The vehicle will have a single cylinder. This will be the first time we will get a single-cylinder in India. The vehicle will be a feature-packed and be completely powerful.

Company Quotes

Paul Stroud who is the Chief Commercial Officer, Triumph Motorcycles gave a confirmation that Bajaj will distribute Triumphs in India and also in some other markets. The Triumph will be seen selling other Bajaj bikes in some of the other markets with their badging.

We look forward to working alongside such a famous motorcycle company and leveraging each others strengths and expertise to make the relationship success for everyone.” As there is no confirmation on the type of vehicle that will see with the joint venture. There is a chance the Bajaj Triumph bike to be a retro cruiser. This retro cruiser will lock horns with the Royal Enfield and the Jawa.
