Hatchbacks are saviours in India’s tight and traffic-filled roads. They are the most prefered option for commuting and so manufacturers are focussed on bringing more and more options in the Hatchback segments. With more demand for premium hatchbacks, we have seen manufacturers coming up with the more feature-packed vehicle at a considerate price. Looking at last years trend and demand for SUV has not affected the love for hatchbacks. So here are 5 upcoming hatchbacks which will refresh this segment.

Maruti Celerio Facelift

The Maruti Celerio has been on the market for 5 years. It replaced the Ritz and the A-star and created a perfect vehicle between them. This vehicle is now ageing and is due for a facelift. The Tata Altoz makes for the premium upcoming hatchback. This segment is growing slowly and gaining peoples attention. The vehicle is a bit late in the market but it has a load of features to impress the audience. The design is a bit aggressive with a sharp shoulder line and dual-tone colour scheme. The vehicle is introduced with a BS6 compliant diesel and petrol engine. The petrol version of the vehicle has the 1.2 L BS6 Revetron engine. This comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The diesel is a four-cylinder 1.5 L BS6 Revotorq engine. This to come with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This vehicle misses on an automatic gearbox which might be a place where it might lose customers.
