Bajaj Pulsar NS200 BS6 might be brands next BS6 launch?

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is one of the best selling bikes in India. The vehicle has not only changed the motorcycling trend in India but also abroad. This bike wears the proud badge marking 18-years of legacy. The company has launched a new TVC which shows how biking has been changed for India because of the Pulsar. Now the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 BS6 is being ready and below are a few things that you can expect on the new bike. 

What will change?

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 shares its platform with the Duke 200. The bike is made in the Chakan plant, on a perimeter-frame. Bajaj is planning to launch this bikes BS6 update. The bike has been getting slight changes since the time it was launched in 2012 and with this BS6 update, we might get to see a design change. First, let’s talk about the engine which is a 199cc liquid-cooled engine.

The current BS4 version is carburated and produces 23 bhp of power and 18.3 Nm of peak torque. The fared version of the bike makes 24bhp and 18.

6Nm and is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The BS6 version of the bike will get fuel injection systems which will help to keep with the upcoming emission norms. 

Features and Price

The BS6 bike will drop some power but the torque might remain constant. A new all-digital instrument cluster might feature on this bike. The exhaust note of the will also see come change along with a change in the underbelly exhaust. A side sung exhaust will be seen with new BS6 version. This might be similar to the one seen on the KTM Duke 250. The prices of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 BS6 will be seen with a price rise of about Rs 5,000. The current price of the vehicle is Rs 1.15 lakh. The new price of the vehicle might be somewhere around Rs 1.40 lakhs. The bike will be available with a dual-channel ABS variant too. There might be some new colors also which might be introduced on the bike along with updated graphics.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 primarily locks horns with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Yamaha FZ 25. To an extent, it is a cheaper alternative to the likes of the fun-to-ride and capable KTM 200 Duke (which will also undergo a BS6 update soon).
