2020 Tata Hexa

What will change?

As far as the engine goes, one source tells us that the 2020 Tata Hexa will get a BS6 tune because the same engine is used on the Xenon XT which in turn is going to be made compliant with the Euro 6 regulations. Tata is getting the pick-up truck ready to follow the same stringent emission norms and will thus give us a BS6 compliant engine on the Hexa. The Hexa comes with a max power of 148bhp and max torque of 320Nm of torque for the XE variant and max power of 153bhp and max torque of 400 Nm of torque for the XM, XTA, XT and XT 4X4 variants. Available in a five-speed manual and a six-speed manual as well as automatic options, the car gets a massive 60-litre fuel tank. With the coming BS6 modifications to the Varicor engine, the car might produce lesser power and become a bit more refined. We will have to wait and watch to know more.
