The Hero Splendour iSmart is India’s first BS6 bike in India. This bike which had been carburated for so many years now finally gets fuel injection. The vehicle gets a new frame which is light and cost-effective. The bike also gets i3s system. The combination of the fuel injection and the i3s system has resulted in a 10% increases in fuel efficiency. The vehicle is also more torque and has a wide torque band. This bike’s launch made hero the first two-wheeler manufacturer to get BS6 certification in India.

Honda Activa 125 BS6

Price: Rs 67,490

The Honda Activa BS6 is the first BS6 compliant scooter to be launched in India. The was launched right after Hero launched their BS6 Splendour. This scooter get ACG which makes it very silent. Also, the fuel injection system on the bike makes it BS6 compliant and the fueling feels proper. The scooter also gets idle start-stop function which increases the efficiency of the vehicle. There are an overall increse of 10 – 13 per cent increase in fuel efficiency than the old model. The price starts from Rs 67,400 and ranges up to Rs 74,990 which makes it an expensive scooter.

TVS Jupiter Classic BS6

The Jupiter Classic was announced as a BS6 compliant vehicle recently. This vehicle gets Ecothrust fuel injection. The scooter is a commuter scooter by TVS. It gets a 110cc engine which has decent power. The suspension on this scooter has been tuned very good for Indian roads. The new Ecothrust Fuel injection system gives the scooter overall better drivability which is accompanied by smoothness and fuel economy.

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V & RTR 200 4V BS6

Price: 99,950

TVS has launched the BS6 range of 2020 with the Apaches. The RTR 200 4V and the RTR 160 4V get a Race-Tuned fuel injection system. This makes throttle response much quicker and the bike feels smooth. Both these bikes are now even equipped with Glide Through Traffic system. This means that the bike can move plainly on the clutch without any throttle input. This will make traffic commutes easier. The bike has attractive graphics with a new headlight cluster. The headlights are now a complete LED unit on the RTR 200 and the RTR 160 gets a halogen bulb. The RTR 160 4V is priced at Rs 99,950 and the RTR 200 4V is priced at Rs 1.24 lakhs.

TVS Apache 2020

Honda SP 125 BS6

This bike is based on the exsisting SP Shine. The bike gets an all-new 125cc BS6 compliant engine. The engine is equipped with ACG which makes it a silent started. The overall bike is a more youthful version of the CB Shine. The bike comes with a new design, LED DC headlamps and sharper bodywork. The body graphics on this bike are very sporty and they give it a nice appeal. The instrument cluster also has got a complete digital overhaul. The seat of the vehicle has been made long from added comfort. 

Honda SP125 BS6

Jawa Perak BS6

Price: Rs 1,94,500

The Jawa Perak is the 3rd bike in the lineup. The bike gets a bobber type styling. It maintains the looks of a Jawa on the headlight and the twin exhaust pipes. The bike gets a single seat setup which is quite low slung. The engine on this bike is 343cc engine which produces 30 bhp of power and 31 Nm of torque. The engine put this power to the wheels using a 6-speed gearbox. This engine will not be used on the lower Jawa even though it is BS6 compliant. The engine of the Jawa Forty Two and 300 Classic will be made BS6 compliant soon. 

Jawa Perak

Yamaha R15 V3 BS6 and MT-15 BS6

The BS6 version of the R15 and the MT-15 was launched recently by Yamaha. The bikes were already fuel injected and they have been detuned to meet the emission norms. Both these bikes now have a colour which is offered with special colour wheels. The MT-15 is now offered with a radial tyre at the rear. There is still no dual-channel ABS on the MT-15. The R15 has not been changed much but it now gets a side stand activated engine cut off.

Yamaha FZ V3.0

The Yamaha FZ V3.0 has been introduced in a BS6 avatar. The vehicle comes with a Fi version only now. There are a few cosmetic changes on the vehicle. The body graphics have been inserted with a lot of chrome on them. The bike gets a 149cc engine which now makes 12.2 bhp of power and 13.6 Nm of torque. There are 2 variants of this bike. The only difference on the upper variant is that it is offered with a matte colour and added graphics. 

Yamaha FZ-S V3 ABS Side

Yamaha Ray-ZR BS6

Price: Rs 66,430

The Yamaha Ray ZR has now been launched with a Fuel-injected 125cc engine. It has been made BS6 compliant. The scooter is available in street rally avatar. This will compete with the Strom 125 by Aprilia. The BS4 version of this scooter was powered by 113cc engine which has now been made into a 124cc engine. This means that the scooter will offer more performance. In small-capacity vehicles such as scooters, the stringent norms can often be met by a new fuel-injection system, better ECU mapping and redesigned exhaust system. The vehicle also gets silent start function 

Yamaha Fascino BS6

Price: Rs 66,430

The Yamaha Fascino has been launched with the BS6 compliant 125 cc engine. Thie new engine makes more power and torque. The ECU maps allow better efficiency and the exhaust gives it a better performance. It gets the silent start function as on the Honda Activa 125 BS6. The pricing of the scooter has seen a bump but it has been justified with the bigger engine new features.
