Suzuki Burgman BS6 may come with a Start-stop system

The Suzuki Burgman BS6 will be one of the hot launches of the BS6 update by Suzuki. Suzuki Burgman is a sporty scooty and the Access 125 is the commuter scooter. Suzuki has not revealed its BS6 plans yet but there is a faint idea that we can expect a few launches of the vehicle by January – February 2020. Named as the special one this vehicle was based on the larger Burgman 650 which is sold in the International market.

In recent times the competition in the 125cc sporty scooter has been increased drastically. The Bugman is a scooter which looks not too sporty but has a performance engine under it.

The internals of the BS6 engine will have a 125cc engine. This engine is a 4-stroke air-cooled engine with SOHC 2 valve. The engine current is carburated but for the BS6 version, it will get a Fuel Injection system. The vehicle will also see some drop in power but the mileage of the vehicle will also increase. Along with this we can also expect some silent start technology as on the Honda Activa 125 and the Fascino 125 Fi. There might also be a start-stop system on the vehicle which will increase the fuel mileage further. 

There might not be much of changes on the body of the vehicle. The shape won’t change any further but the weight distribution will change as the starter motor might be in the same unit.

The instrument cluster on the Suzuki Burgman although its the latest on the Suzuki line of the motorcycle it misses out on a BlueTooth connectivity feature. As of now, the vehicle runs on thick bold tyres. These are flanked on the alloy wheels which look purposeful and have a decent design. The Suzuki Burgman BS6 might showcase a new colour. 

The scooter already is feature-packed with a lot of storage spaces. At the front, we get a cubby hole below the key slot and a glove box is provided on the left side. This is where there USB charging port is provided which makes it convenient to charge and place the phone. 

Ergonomics on this vehicle have been paid special attention. The vehicle has been designed such that the it gets a flexible riders triangle. There are 2-foot positions available for the rider. The handlebars the vehicle is kept light by keeping the headlight unit fixed. The seat too is comfortable and there is plenty of space for the rider. Although it is sporty scooty it does not get much of badging like on the Ntorq125. 

The Suzuki Burgman BS6 will compete with the Activa 125 BS6 and the Fascino 125 Fi. The recently revealed Ray ZR 125 Fi will also be a strong contender in this segment. Slowly and steadily this segment is growing and we see that more efficient scooter are emerging with BS6 emission compliance.
