Mahindra to offer subscription plans in association with Revv

Mahindra has come up with a new subscription-based car renting service in partnership with Revv. This will be available across select SUVs in its line up. The prices for subscriptions start from Rs 19,270 per month. This includes insurance and routine maintenance. This price might go up as the model changes. This also will depend upon the duration of which the Vehicle is rented and will drop as the duration increases. 

Mahindra aims to increase the convenience of owning a vehicle. They also offer flexibility in the ownership of a vehicle. For instance, if a person has a very definite and fixed usage of a vehicle of needs a vehicle only during a certain period, then this is a perfect solution.

Plan Structure

To get a subscription the customer has to visit Revv’s website and select a model from a list that includes KUV100, TUV300, XUV300, XUV500, Marrazzo, Scorpio or the Alturas G4. The customer has to provide relevant details for the eligibility check. Once they are eligible for subscription then they have to pay a refundable deposit that is based on the model and duration of the subscription. If it is a new car the subscription will range from one to four years. Once all the formalities are done the car reaches the customer’s doorstep.

Usually, this whole process does not take more than a month.

The subscription fee for the first month is to be paid in advance. Later the customer has to pay it on a monthly basis.

This will continue for the whole duration. During the subscription, the customer can change the vehicle model.

In the end, they can return the vehicle to Mahindra or opt to purchase it from them at a predetermined price.

This subscription will be available in eight Indian cities in the first phase. These include Delhi(NCR), Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Kolkata.
