2020 Mahindra Bolero Design

2019 Mahindra Bolero

The design of this SUV will remain muscular and industrial. The vehicle will be more well packaged. The fit finish of the vehicle will improve. It is expected to be better than the usual Mahindra standards. The overall design will remain the same. The grill will get a futuristic touch with brushed silver. The top-end trims will get LED headlamps as well as daytime running lights. With the addition of all these changes, the muscular look of the SUV might get hidden. It might look like a strong muscular fighter turned into a cyborg. The side of the car might not see any big changes. If Mahindra changes the design just to make it look new then there might be a mixed opinion about the design among existing fans of the vehicle. This vehicle has been used by the police force extensively and has also been a symbol of machismo.

The company will try to incorporate this identity in the new design somewhere. The rear door of the car is a side-hinged door. If a top-hinged door is provided in the upcoming model then the vehicle will get a fresh element while retaining the old charm. The introduction of LEDs will of personal choice. Some people will like it, some will dislike.

Mahindra Bolero Front 2019

The engine on the Mahindra Bolero will be a new one. This new engine will be BS6 compliant. The previous car had a DI or M2DiCR engine. The older engine was a 2.5-litre unit. Still, the new 1.5-litre mHawk engine produces more torque and power figures. It is a three-cylinder unit and churns around 70 bhp of power and 195Nm of torque. This makes the car suitable even for hauling loads. The bolero camper is the best use of the bolero engine. This comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is low revving one does need to shift gears while moving through traffic. An AMT gearbox will be a cookie point and will gain some urban customers.

The upcoming vehicle will improve on this front. The Bolero will get a digital instrument cluster. The existing cluster looks sporty with the red colour and has a different appeal from the conventional instrument cluster. There is nothing analog on the vehicles instrument cluster. The quality of plastics on this car is decent. There will be a lot of hard plastics under the name of cost-cutting. The interiors of the car are also boxy in nature.
