The vehicle will be priced around 8.5 lakhs – 10 lakhs (ex-showroom). The engine on the Mahindra Bolero will be a new one. This new engine will be BS6 compliant. The previous car had a DI or M2DiCR engine. The older engine was a 2.5-litre unit. Still, the new 1.5-litre mHawk engine produces more torque and power figures. It is a three-cylinder unit and churns around 70 bhp of power and 195Nm of torque. This makes the car suitable even for hauling loads. The bolero camper is the best use of the bolero engine. This comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is low revving one does need to shift gears while moving through traffic. An AMT gearbox will be a cookie point and will gain some urban customers.
