2020 Tata Harrier spotted with black alloy wheels and new interior
We will talk about the 2020 Tata Harrier but before that, let’s recap the Harrier since its launch at the start of the year. The Tata Harrier has become a favorite when it comes to selecting something from the premium mid-size SUV segment. Numbers show how buyers have preferred this car over the Jeep Compass and the Mahindra XUV500. But the one thing Tata did not account was the feature and option rich MG Hector which now possess a threat. The 2019 Tata Harrier is rectifying that by getting a sunroof, automatic gearbox and a BS6 engine.
Now let’s talk about the 2020 Tata Harrier. Yes, some limited editions could come, some upholstery inserts and new color options could be introduced. But most importantly the Land Rover based Harrier could now finally get 4WD. The car currently gets a Terrain Assist system from Land Rover but is still not equipped with a low-ratio gearbox and does not get a transfer case to shuffle power between the rear wheels. This could change on net year’s Tata Harrier.
Secondly, we will see the car getting a newly updated interior with new colors and more importantly an automatic gearbox. The taillights and the headlights could see a blacked-out design and a dynamic LED could replace the current DRLs. The car will also get a new set of black alloy wheels. The will add a dynamic touch too. Check out the spy shots below where we have spotted all of this.
2020 Tata Harrier Launch
This updated Harrier will be launched next year and will be made available with a lot more features. The addition of a new interior layout and a new set of black alloy wheels will make sure that the product is made more appealing for buyers.

2020 Tata Harrier 4WD
The 4WD option on the Harrier is something that has always been speculated. Think of it as the Jeep Trailhawk variant. This variant of the Harrier will be focused on off-roading. Expect new bumpers, a torquier engine, and gearbox setup. Will the 2020 Tata Harrier 4WD be automatic or manual? We think an automatic setup will be the way to go. The car will continue to get the Land Rover Terrain Response system plus more modes. There will also be a higher ground clearance given to the vehicle. We can expect knobby tyres and as Tata design chief Pratap Bose once tweeted a picture of a raised Harrier, the suspension rebound/travel could be adjusted and the shock absorbers could be upgraded too. No dimensions would change on the car.
New Tata Harrier Interior
On the inside, the car will get some new badging improvements and maybe a connected car setup. Apart from that, a quieter cabin with the BS6 engine is expected. The automatic gearbox will mean that some of the center console design will be changed. The sunroof will also be a welcome addition too.
New Tata Harrier Specifications
The new Tata Harrier’s biggest spec change will be the 4WD setup. We think it will be paired up to an automatic gearbox. Tata might offer bigger tyres and some other essential off-road features like skid plates under the car too.

Looks like a good concept, I have a Nexon top end, looking for another SUV to replace my 2005 Toyota Innova. Want to stick onto Make in India concept. Harrier is an option and look forward to buying one with all special features, Like 18″ wheels, Tail door opening and shutting remotely, 4 wheel drive
