Maruti XL6 Price

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 has been launched with on two trim levels, both available with manual and automatic transmissions. We expected the price of this new Maruti six-seater to be from Rs 9.5 lakhs to 11.3 lakhs (ex-showroom) and we were pretty spot on. The price of this car is such that it does not disturb the sales of Ertiga which Maruti will continue selling in the Maruti Suzuki outlets. The car will be placed higher and will charge this premium for exchange of some features that are available on Nexa vehicles only. One of the features that differentiate a Nexa product is in the color section and there is a reason behind why Maruti does it.

5 Things to know

Body cladding

The major distinctions between the Ertiga and the XL6 are the body cladding on the new vehicle. This provides the vehicle a bolder and more industrial stance. Although the vehicle is marketed through a premium marketing portal, this car makes a very clear statement of being bold and tough. The body cladding is black in colour and makes the car look wide. It also makes the road presence more visible.

Signature Quad-LED Headlamps

These headlights are a complete LED unit. There are Two main LEDs which are for the low beam as well as two LEDs for the high beam. There is an LED Daytime running light which maintains a flow from the headlight to the grille. Lastly, there is a turn indicator which finishes the Quad-LED setup. This setup has been a main talking point of the vehicle. It provides good illumination at night as well as a wide throw.

Cruise control

Cruise control is a feature that many may not necessarily use but it’s good to have featured on a car. The car is sold through a premium portal and being priced at this price missing out on this feature would have been a big disappointment. The cruise control function come in handy while driving on the highway and on a trip where one can just ease off the foot from the gas pedal.

Seat Belt Pre-Tensioners

This car is provided with pre-tensioners seat belts. This improves the safety of the vehicle. These also come with force limiters. This will ensure that the seatbelt will provide just the right amount of hold during an impact. The force limiter will absorb the impact and translate the least amount of it to the passenger.

Pedestrian Protection Compliance

The new XL6 come with pedestrian protection compliance. This includes the use of materials which will flex and absorb the impact in case of an accident. This feature makes the car safe not only for the people traveling in the car but also for the people around the car.

  • Hi, when is the WagonR 7-seater coming out?

  • @ Venky, I too was looking for that same option.
It may be done outside for a nominal price I believe fitting a seat in b/w the 2 captain seats as well.

  • For that you will have to get the Ertiga

  • can the captain seats be replaced by a bench in XL6?
