2020 Tata Tiago spotted while being tested in Ladakh
The 2020 Tata Tiago will be offered with a range of standard safety features across all its variants. The Tiago is the best selling car from Tata and is also among the top ten selling cars in the country. The 2020 Tata Tiago is going to be a major facelift and now we have come across a spy shots of the car being tested in the hilly region of Lonavala. The Tiago XZ+, introduced last year was to make sure that the car is at par with the Asta variant of the Santro in terms of features. This new variant will be a good car as it is cheaper than the Santro currently. The car will be a decent facelift and new images that have surfaced show the cars alloy wheels and blacked-out headlamps.

2020 Tata Tiago Launch
The new facelifted Tiago will be mostly launched at the end of the year and will be one of the manufacturers ‘ last launches. The car will be a great option for those considering the Santro or the Kwid and will be a boon for those looking for more features with a car that offers great space.

2020 Tata Tiago Standard Safety
The car will be equipped with features such as Dual Airbags, Anti Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Corner Stability Control (CSC), and Rear Parking Sensors. It will be three years since the launch of the Tiago and it is due for a minor facelift. The Tiago will get some upgrades too.

The Tiago XZ+ is the top-end version of the car and will be priced at Rs 5.57 lakhs (single tone) and Rs 5.64 lakhs (dual tone) for the petrol version. There is a possibility that Tata will do away with the diesel variant.

The Tiago petrol will not see any change in its mileage. The fuel efficiency will be the same as the current car. It will have an ARAI specified fuel efficiency of 23.84km/l. However, in real driving conditions, fuel efficiency will be different.
2020 Tata Tiago XZ+ features
In terms of exterior design the car gets a Dual-tone exterior option – Glossy black roof & spoiler 15” dual-tone alloy wheels (only with the petrol engine option) Chrome accent on tailgate Body side molding 2 new colors – Canyon Orange and Ocean Blue. In terms of infotainment and convenience, the XZ+ variant gets ConnectNext 7” inch touchscreen system by Harman, Android Auto connectivity, voice command recognition through Android Auto, Incoming SMS notifications & readouts, Digital controls for FATC, Fully Automatic Temperature control, projector headlamps with smoked black bezel, electrically folding ORVM with welcome function.
The car will see the headlights from the new 2018 Tigor which has got a smoked finish with projector headlamps. The XZ+ will only be offered with a manual transmission as of now. This array of updates will give the Tiago a great arsenal to go up against the new Santro with its feature-loaded top variant.

2020 Tata Tiago Design
The 2020 Tata Tiago will have the same basic design but it will get tweaks in the styling department. The car will get a new front grille and the headlamps will also be new. This time they will have LED daytime running lights. The styling won’t be flashy but will be pleasing to the eye. Expect projector headlamps too this time. The side will see no change, except for the alloy wheels, which will be new. The taillights also will see a change. Most probably these will be LED lamps. The rear spoiler will see slight modifications and the rear bumper will also be a restyled one. We could see LED fog lamps too.
Badges on the car could see a slight tweak too. There could be a new set of alloy wheels that come with this car. A dual-tone design can also be expected. The car could also get a shark fin antenna and some roof rails from the Tiago NRG. Also overall we could see some of the exterior elements like the new colors and clear tail lamps from the recently launched Tigor facelift come to the 2020 Tata Tiago.
2020 Tata Tiago Interiors
The New 2020 Tata Tiago will get subtle changes to its interiors. The basic layout will be the same and will see no change whatsoever. New seat fabrics will be seen in the 2020 model. There will be some changes made to the interior theme as well, to add some freshness. Tiago has a lot of storage spaces which would not be disturbed. The car could get a revised steering wheel too with some more functions. Automatic climate control and cruise control could make its way into the car. Below is an image of the instrument cluster which has got a digital speedometer, rev counter and fuel gauge. We can also expect it to get a live fuel efficiency readout and a DTE (Distance to empty) readout.
The instrument cluster will see some change and also probably the addition of some more information for the driver. A new touchscreen system is expected to be offered in the 2020 Tata Tiago. Going with the current trend there will be some kind of remote connectivity option which will be offered on the car. This will be available only on the AMT only.
The seats will have better cushioning, which will be on the firmer side. It will be the same in terms of space, Tiago is one of the most spacious cars and the new model will carry forward this virtue. The boot remains the same at 230 liters of space. This is decent for daily commuting and weekend luggage.
2020 Tata Tiago Colours
The Tata Tiago presently comes in the following color options:

There will be new colors offered in the Tiago 2020. However, it is too early to predict what kind of colors will be seen in it. A new black color may be introduced in the Tiago 2020.
Tata will also see some of the new colors available on the 2018 Tata Tigor make their way on the Tiago 2020.

2020 Tata Tiago Specification
The New 2020 Tata Tiago will come in petrol only. These will be the same offered currently. There will be no change to the engines or transmissions. A five-speed manual transmission does duty this engine. Currently the petrol Tata Tiago gets an AMT the same will be continued. It will then rework the engine for more power. The performance of this engine is decent and offer a good mix of city and highway driving. The petrol engine on the 2020 Tata Tiago will be more refined. Fuel efficiency will also be amongst the best. There is a possibility of the diesel engine to get discontinued. This will result in some shift of customers but the cost of reworking on the diesel engine to get it BS6 compliant is far more and not feasible.
2020 Tata Tiago CNG
The 2020 Tata might see the discontinuation of a Diesel engine so to compensate this, the company will try to incorporate a pre-fitted CNG kit. This way they can keep the petrol engine and make the car more economical to drive. The price of driving a CNG car will be much less than a petrol car. To add to all this a company fitted CNG kit is always trusted more by people and they will switch to it much easier too. The addition of CNG pre-fitting will also open opportunities for the previous owners to get CNG options.
2020 Tiago Ride and Handling
The ride quality of the Tiago is the best in its class. In fact it even better that of cars from higher segments. The 2020 edition too will have the same characteristics. The higher variants may get a larger size of alloy wheels, thereby making the handling even better. The light steering is a boon in this car, especially at parking speeds. Also, the small steering wheel is comfortable. The 2020 Tata Tiago will have good body composure which will help it be safe on the highways.

Is there chance that TATA can launch facelift of Tiago jtp?
Because as customers we expect little more feel good features in Tiago jtp. Like 7″ touch screen, adjustable headrests in back bench, parking camera and multiple airbags.
