Along with the debut of the Ignis compact crossover, Suzuki will also showcase a Trial Concept of the Ignis at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show and has released its first images.

The Trial concept sports larger alloy wheels, it also has roof rails, black roof and orange highlights around the grill, sides and fog lamp bezels and also on the wheels. This theme is carried in the interiors as well – black and white upholstery with orange highlights on the door handles, centre console and has orange piping on the dual tone seats. A newly designed three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, touchscreen display, automatic climate control, and automatic transmission are also a part of the concept car.

Suzuki Ignis Trial
As per Suzuki, the Trail concept “expands upon the Ignis concept of urban and outdoor versatility by offering even greater rough-road ruggedness”.  The Ignis Trial concept also will be powered by a 1.2-litre DualJet petrol and 1.0-litre BoosterJet petrol engines. The car will also feature the SHVS or Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki, which is a start-stop system. The concept also features Suzuki’s AWD system.Whether this concept will be launched in India is yet unknown.
