2019 TVS NTorq 125 Race edition launched

The 2019 TVS NTorq now gets a Matte Silver paint job. The scooter has been the most awarded 125cc two-wheeler last year and has thus gotten this celebration paint scheme. In terms of styling otherwise, nothing has changed. The TVS NTorq 125 gets a front end that has been derived from the Graphite. It has daytime running LED and 12-inch wheels too. It is easily one of the most stylish scooters around. The thick tyres, stylish rear and T shaped LEDs on the tail lamp make it cool and aggressive to look at.

The TVS NTorq gets a 125cc engine that churns about 9bhp of power and comes with CVTi-REVV transmission.

It’s targeted towards the youth and has proven to be successful.

2019 TVS NTorq 125 Price in India

The pricing of this scooter seems to be justified. It gets all the bells and whistles one is looking for in a 125cc scooter with the best in class performance too. In fact, it is a very well-priced product.

2019 TVS NTorq 125 Race Edition

TVS has launched the NTorq 125 Race Edition in India at Rs 62,995 (ex-Delhi). This costs Rs 3,000 more over the regular model. It features race-inspired graphics, an LED headlight running LED DRL’s and a nifty hazard lamp. Comes in two new colours.  There are no mechanical changes in the vehicle. This is the first time any scooter has a hazard switch.

2019 TVS NTorq 125 Mileage

The mileage this scooter gives is between 35-40km/l. Under hard acceleration, the efficiency drops to 30km/l as well.

2019 TVS NTorq 125 Specifications

This is a new engine that TVS claims to be the fastest. This scooter can do 0-60km/hr in 9 seconds. The new TVS NTorq is powerful and the engine has 3 valves. The tyres are also comparatively meaty. The front ones are 100/80 12 and the rear gets 110/80 12. The TVS NTorq 125 comes with telescopic suspension at the front. This makes it a lot more comfortable for the front passengers. The ride is a bit harsh at low speeds and the handling is good. It is quite comfortable to ride for long hours as well.

The seat gets good cushioning.

2019 TVS NTorq 125 Engine

A 125cc engine powers the NTorq. This churns out a power of 9bhp. This is a new engine. At the moment, TVS doesn’t have any other 125cc scooter. The company has introduced this engine not just for India but in other markets also. The 2019TVS NTorq 125 gets a CVTi-REVV with it. The highlights of the scooter are the fuel tank capacity that will be closer to 5 liters. The bike has a top speed of 95 km/hr.

2019 TVS Ntorq 125 Design

The 2019 TVS NTorq 125 comes with an aggressive fascia. This looks a lot more stylish than the Graphite on which it was based on and with a cool headlamp which has an integrated daytime running LED in it. The other important aspect in the styling is the appealing side profile. The side is dominated with dual tone colour shade. The tyre size is 12-inch and it has diamond cut alloy wheels. The petal disc brake is also a new bit added on this scooter. Also, the new NTorq 125 even has LED tail lamps. This also looks appealing and it is stylish too. Some might not like the front of the NTorq but the side and rear do look cool.

2019 TVS NTorq 125 Features

The TVS NTorq is the first scooter with Bluetooth connectivity. When the phone is paired, it shows who has messaged or called, shows navigation and even a battery indicator. The other important bit on the NTorq 125 is its new app. This app helps to locate the scooter if you do not remember where you have parked it. The other important bit is that the NTorq 125 gets mobile charging and boot light. It also gets the fuel cap outside. It isn’t a full metal body scooter like the Honda Activa 4G.

2019 TVS NTorq 125 Competition

The major competition scooters to the TVS NTorq 125 will be the Honda Grazia and the Honda Activa 125. There is also the Suzuki Access 125. The other competing scooter is the Aprilia 125cc scooter.
