The Tata Altroz is one of the most highly anticipated cars of the year. This car is going to enter and compete in a segment where buyers are looking for the most premium car backed up by the best features and power in its class. In the teaser below, we see the Altroz on a runway proving its agility, its engines performance and handling characteristics. All of this means that the car is being tuned for performance and agility. The Tata Altroz is going to be more powerful than the Baleno RS too and will offer more features than the Honda Jazz. For now, check out our video below and our channel too for more dope on the upcoming Tata Altroz. Also, read below a breakdown on the offerings that set the Tata Altroz apart, below the video.

Let’s take a look at some points shared in the video too –

Tata Altroz Platform

The Tata Altroz is based on a new platform called ALFA Arc that was made keeping in mind the following – Agile, Light, Flexible and Advanced. Arc mean architecture. So the handling is tuned to be sporty and the plaform, chassis itself is very light. The point of flexibility means that the ALFA platform can be shrunk, made longer, wider depending on the car that is planned. Advanced means that the car has got the ability to transform and take on more. This will happen when the Altorz will go Electric. The Altroz EV was also shown at the Geneva Motor Show – Click here to know more about that car.

Tata Altroz Engine

The engine on the Altroz will be the most powerful in the segment. We knew something was us when the car was spotted on the Kari racetrack a while back. And now the teaser shows the cars on a runway accelerating hard and turning in with precision too. The petrol will be a 1.2-litre turbocharged unit and the diesel will be a 1.5-litre turbodiesel. Accompanying the petrol engine will be a five-speed gearbox. These engines are the biggest in the segment and the most powerful. A big engine with a light agile setup is going to be fun. We can’t wait to review this car.

Tata Altroz Driving Modes

This is important as this is the only car in the segment that will get them and having such a customization option aids in different driving environments and suits different drivers. We saw it was available in the model shown at Geneva and we feel confident since Tata offers driving modes on the Tigor, Tiago, Nexon, Harrier and Hexa, this car will get them too.

Tata Altroz Infotainment Setup

Tata Cars have always had brilliant setups when it comes to speakers and audio. The Harman unit in the cars has been brilliant. The Hexa has the JBL by Harman with a sub-woofer/amp is amazing too. So we know that a banging unit with at least 6 speakers or more could be seen on the Tata Altroz.

So finally with those points covered we can tell you a few things – it will be a very spacious car, segment first features are expected too, it will be a very appealing design and most importantly, Tata has been nailing the pricing of their products and this too will generate chaos in the segment when launched. We can’t wait to get our hands on this car.
