After being showcased at the Auto Expo last year the 2019 Aprilia Storm 125 has been finally launched. The Storm 125 is going to be the base/entry level model to the Aprilia line-up. Online, the price and other details of the bike had arrived 2 days back. The price is going to Rs 65,000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Although, the Storm 125 comes with a few changes as compared to the model displayed at the 2018 Auto Expo, the company thinks it’s the perfect fit for the youth. Aprilia Storm 125 will take on the likes of TVS Ntorq and Honda Grazia, which are priced a bit lower at Rs 58,252 and Rs 60,273 (Both prices are Ex. Showroom, Delhi) respectively.
The mechanical bits of the scooter will be shared with the SR125. The engine, exhaust, instrument cluster and lights are all shared with the SR. The scooter has also got the same design and graphics from SR125.

The price of the 2019 Aprilia Storm 125 was already on the companies twitter account a few days back. The scooter is going to cost Rs 65,000 (Ex-showroom) and is already available for booking with a down payment of Rs 5000. The tweet also mentions free roadside assistance, free 5-year warranty, free service labor for 1 year and Paytm benefits of Rs 6,000.

2019 Aprilia Storm 125 Specifications
The Aprilia Storm 125 is powered by the 124.49cc engine, which churns out 9.9Nm of torque and 10bhp of power. The Storm 125 will miss out on the front disc brake present on the SR 125, but will get CBS (Combined Braking System). Apart from these features, the scooter is nearly identical to the SR 125. The Storm 125 is expected to ride on the same 10-inch tyres as the Auto Expo model, measuring 120/80 at the front and 130/80 at the rear. The company might also offer a variant with disc brake at a later stage.

Aprilia Storm 125 Design
The Aprilia Storm 125 is going to look the same as the SR125. Tyre design. Body graphics and decals are also the same. The lights, instrument cluster, seat and body panels are also going to be the same. This will not only keep costs down but will also make sure that the scooter is not going to have a long waiting period as it can be made more quickly.

The scooter will face hard competition from the segment leaders that are the Suzuki Burgman, Honda Grazia and the TVS Ntorq.
