It is the most capable variant of the Compass when it comes to the Indian market. The Jeep Compass has been an instant hit for the brand in the Indian market. The Jeep Compass range begins at Rs 15.6 lakh (ex-showroom, all-India). Today the Trailhawk is launched and this is a car everyone has been awaited for long.

2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk Launch

This launch comes just before the upcoming monsoon season when many off-road enthusiasts love to take their cars out. The car continues to come with the lovely BS6 compliant 2.0-liter engine now and will now come with a nine-speed gearbox. FCA India has announced the launch of the Made-in-India Jeep Compass Trailhawk All-wheel Drive (AWD) SUV at Rs 26.8 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available for purchase at all 82 FCA-all brand retail touchpoints across the country.

2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk Design

The sophisticated/aerodynamic SUV design continues and gets a touch of rugged details. This fascia is designed with a more vertical concaved shape, enabling the vehicle to better tackle tough terrains and maneuver over obstacles with confidence. The 2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk is outfitted with a host of off-road necessities and stylish features, including ruby red tow hooks—two in the front and one in the rear. The enhanced ground clearance and new 17-inch dual tone alloy wheels give it a meaner stance than the regular Compass. The colors available are not yet known but with the dual tone effect and the plastic side cladding, the car is easy to differentiate. The overall design will really appeal to the off-road enthusiast who has been till recently, modifying his regular Compass with more off-road capability.

On the inside, The Compass Trailhawk interior features available refined leather-trimmed seats accented by signature ruby red stitching throughout. The Uconnect 4 with 8.4-inch touchscreen puts the info you want right where you need it. The car will get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk Specifications

The car will retain the 2.0-litre engine and will get a new nine-speed gearbox. There is no clarity if the car will also get a manual gearbox in the form of the six-speed unit. The car also gets Active Drive Low 4×4 system with 20:1 crawl ratio and the Jeep Select-Terrain traction control system with an additional ‘Rock’ mode. There will be new tyres also available. Jeep might offer the bigger 19-inch wheels on this car.
