A month after Suzuki Motorcycles India launched the Gixxer SF 250 and the 155cc version in the form of the Gixxer SF, the naked versions news has reached us. The fully fared SF version of the bikes have been priced for Rs 1,70,900 and Rs 1,09,400 respectively, Ex-showroom, Delhi. Now there is a plan to introduce the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer 250 next. The Suzuki line-up is looking for a more spunk in the bottom range of products and the brand is addressing the issue with the launch of exciting products like the naked/street fighting version of the Gixxer. The bike will be coming later this year.

2019 Suzuki Gixxer 250 Design

The design will change from the previous naked streetfighter look. The rear LED tail lamps will be the same, the 17-inch wheels and the instrument cluster will also not change. The bike will get a new design when it comes to the headlight. Suzuki Gixxer 250 also seems to sport a sleek and low-slung headlamp that will get LED lighting which like the SF will be a full LED cluster. The fuel tank will have a slightly different look and so will the seat. The split seat looks very cool on the SF and Suzuki might retain that. The windshield on the front will also have a new shape. From the images, we can also speculate the Gixxer 250 to have belly pan.

2019-Gixxer-250-nakedThe Gixxer will get the traditional Suzuki blue colors and a host of new dual-tone options. This will make the bike more exciting. The Gixxer could get as many photos and renderings suggest some kind of shrouds on the tank to make it looks more muscular and meaner.

The front seems to have retained the small faring which will give it a naked bike feel and the necessary visual bulk at the front. This will give the bike a streetfighter look although stay tuned for more updates. Considering that the entry-level Gixxer 155cc are on offer with naked as well as fully faired versions, it was very obvious that the 250cc version of Gixxer will also be offered in same two trims.

Suzuki Gixxer 250 Competition

The Gixxer 250 will directly compete with the FZ25 and the Duke 250. It will also compete with the Apache RTR 200 for the value for money proposition. The Suzuki product is known for refinement and accessible performance will go up against the very formidable foes.
