2019 Suzuki Gixxer 250 Design

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 is has changed. Technically it is a new bike in Suzuki’s lineup but the body of the bike is taken directly from the new Gixxer 150. So comparing it with the old Gixxer 150 this bike looks more muscular. The sharp lines and points of the bike have vanished and the bike looks chunkier. To start with the headlamp, there is a new shape which features on it. The headlamp now sports a boxier look from the side. The incline angle of the headlamp has also changed owing to the change in the headlight throw. The front forks on the bike remain the same. The previous Gixxer 150 had a small nonfunctional windscreen protector over the digital console. That too has been removed in this design.

The console on this bike has also been changed. It is an all-digital unit and offers plenty of information. What it misses out is on a distance to empty meter. The readability is also good of the digital console. The bike also gets a Shift light indicator which is not only programmable in terms of RPM but also the strobe can be modified or completely turned off. The tank of the bike gets a bikini fairing this is where the oil cooling filter is mounted. The tank is now raised a bit more and the dents of the tank are reduced. This is where the Suzuki logo is placed on the tanks.  The fall protection on the previous bike remains insufficient even in this bike.

The bike gets a split seat and split grab handles. The boxiness is seen at the grab handle where they were much sharper in the previous Gixxer 150. The footpegs are normal and this makes the bike comfortable while riding in the city. The exhaust design is changed and has square chrome surrounds. It is a dual-port exhaust. The engine gets a brushed bronze finish which differentiates it from the older 150cc engine. This complements the color of the battery cover. The tails section of the bike looks a little less aggressive. The mudguard is functional but robs the look of the fat wheel that is offered at the rear.
