The Volkswagen Vento 2019 got a complete facelift today. This car has been spotted testing recently and has been under development since 2018. Finally now the car VW has launched the new version of the Vento in September 2019. In the C-segment of sedans, the Volkswagen Vento has been there since 2010. The car received a mild facelift in 2015 and had been in a dire need of a new generation of the country. Volkswagen will now introduce the new generation car in India in 2021. The car will be a highly localized product. The new car will be made on the same MQB A0 IN platform that has been developed by Skoda. But in the meantime, the Volkswagen group has now unveiled its India 2.0 strategy, which will be led by Skoda.

Skoda India is going to head the investment, development and plans for the Volkswagen India Group. The Volkswagen Vento 2021 will be coming in first. The new Volkswagen Polo is in the making too. These will be new-generation models. The new Volkswagen Vento is based on the same MQB A0 platform. This is the same platform and it has the same wheelbase as the Polo. The new platform will be more flexible and at the same time even lighter. Volkswagen has been testing the Polo, Vento and even a compact SUV. Of these, Polo and Vento have been launched today. There is still no news about the compact SUV.

Volkswagen Vento 2019 Price in India

The VW Vento is pricing starts at Rs 8.76 lakhs. The diesel variant of the Rs 9.58 lakh and spans over till 14.49 lakhs. The price of the GT line for the petrol variant is Rs 13.17 lakhs and the diesel variant is for Rs 14.49 lakhs.

Volkswagen Vento Design

The new Volkswagen Vento 2019 does not be seen with any major enhancements. Dimensions did not change. This is just a facelift. Volkswagen Vento is also likely to come with a new front look We get to see a revised grille, headlamps and front bumper. The taillights are also be slightly tweaked. New alloy wheels can also be seen. Similarly, the cabin too comes with minimal changes like some minor visual tweaks and few updated features.

Volkswagen Vento 2019 Specifications

The specifications on the Volkswagen Vento will remain unchanged. It will continue to feature the same 1.2-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine that makes 105 bhp and 175 Nm of torque, a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine which develops 103 bhp and 153 Nm of peak torque and a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder diesel unit which churns out 108 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. The option of a manual and a DSG gearbox will continue.

VW being a classy brand has never gone to funky with its colours and this will remain the same even now. The VW Vento will be offered in the existing colours. At the most, a midnight black might be offered as an all-black edition later on.
