KTM has been doing well in the sub-500cc segment. The company has been manufacturing its new bikes at Bajaj’s Chakan plant.

This has reduced the price of the motorcycle. These all sub-500cc bikes are manufactured in India and exported to other markets. This has made the bikes a lot more affordable and increased the company’s market share across the globe. With Asian market majorly benefiting from this, KTM is looking at getting more motorcycles manufactured in India.

The next bike that will come in, shall be the KTM twin-cylinder 500cc engines. This new engine will be manufactured at Bajaj’s facility and shall be sold in different parts of the world too. With Austrian being expensive in terms of labour, this will help the brand to add more to its current sales. KTM and Bajaj have a long relationship already with the KTM bikes. These include the 125, 200, 250 and even 390. Bajaj will even be introducing the KTM Duke 790 for the Indian audience very soon. This will be the company’s most expensive bike for the Indian audience.

There is already the KTM Duke 125, which was introduced last month and it is the smallest Duke in town.

KTM is looking at adding more value to its products. There shall be KTM and even Husqarna bikes that will be made available very soon. This will make it an exciting option for the Indian bike audience, giving them a reason to upgrade.
