Royal Enfield is most likely to showcase the Himalayan, its new upcoming bike in the last week of November at Rider Mania.

The Himalayan has been spotted on several occasions on test, however there is still some time for its unveiling. The official launch of the Himalayan is most likely to be in the next year, but RE will be showcasing the off-roader bike this year.

This year’s RE Rider Mania is likely to be a five-day fest this time. The preparations have already begun and the company is already calling several customised bikes from far for this event.

This is likely to be one of the largest Rider Mania’s ever.

RE Continental GT 5

Royal Enfield has designed an all new chassis for the Himalayan and it will even be powered by an all-new engine too.

This will be a 410cc engine, which has been designed for the upcoming RE motorcycles and it will be replacing the currently sold 350cc engines. With the new set of norms coming in 2017, RE will be replacing all the 350cc engines with this new 410cc engine.

Royal Enfield is now looking towards introducing the Himalayan in its fleet, and at the same time the company is expanding its production capacity, introducing more dealerships and upgrading the styling in the current RE showrooms. Apart from this, it is also building its new satellite centre in the UK, where a majority fo the company’s activities are being shifted. Royal Enfield is working towards entering new bike markets too, and making high-class international standard products for developed western markets too.
