Maruti to launch limited edition Swift SP

With the festive season around, Maruti wants to capitalize on this opportunity and is soon launching a special edition of is best seller – Swift. The Swift SP will come loaded with new features as standard on the LXi and LDi variants at a nominal increase in price.

Maruti Swift SP on the exterior, will have a ‘SP’ badging on the front doors, side moulding strips, along with fog lamps, blackened out pillars, coloured ORVMS and trendy looking wheel covers. The number of additions on the inside are higher and add to the value. All four power windows, central locking with keyless entry, 60:40 split seats, reverse parking sensors, intergrated music system with 4 speakers, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. There is also a memory foam cushion with limited edition branding, sporty seat covers and steering cover.

Prices of the Swift SP will start at around INR 5.6 lacs (on-road, Delhi) and will be mainly targeted at potential buyers of the Hyundai i20 Elite and Honda Jazz, hence, it is priced close to their entry level variants. However, the Swift SP will come with many more features. Maruti aims at not only gaining more over competition during the festive season but also ending the calendar year with minimal levels of stock.
