Mahindra TUV300’s steering wheel revealed. Bookings open

Mahindra has officially revealed the steering wheel of the TUV300 today as the company is preparing to launch its new compact SUV.

First glance at the steering wheel shows that the compact SUV will be getting the new-generation Mahindra steering wheel that we have spotted on the test mule of the TUV300.

The TUV300 will also be getting an all new instrument cluster too.

The bookings of this new compact SUV have started, even though there is no official announcement from the company. Mahindra TUV300 will be manufactured in the Chakan plant that is undergoing expansion and the company will be launching the TUV300 on the 10^th of September.

The TUV300 is a compact SUV that will be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 80bhp of power and will come mated to a five-speed manual and AMT (automated manual transmission). The TUV300 will be a seven-seater with the third row of seats being jump. It is a sub 4-metre SUV and Mahindra will be targeting rural buyers with this new SUV.

The Mahindra TUV300 gets integrated music system with Bluetooth, USB and aux-connectivity, steering mounted audio controls and reverse parking camera. We had spotted the interiors of the Mahindra TUV300 a while ago and it even has electrically adjustable wing mirrors and the power windows are located at the centre like the old Mahindra. It will be prriced at INR 5.5 lakhs to INR 9.5 lakhs (on-road approximately).
