TVS is planning to introduce a new 125cc motorcycle next year, as a part of its new product strategy. The new 125cc motorcycle will be launched with the 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that will be producing 10.8bhp and 10.8Nm of maximum torque. This new bike will be a commuter bike and will be placed below the Pheonix in the TVS range.

TVS at the moment has the Phoenix in this engine segment and it had been recently updated. The new 125cc bike will have front disc and rear drum brakes and it will be priced about INR 62,000 (on-road, Mumbai) and is likely to have styling similar to that of the Star City+.

As Star has become a strong brand for TVS, the company could introduce the Star 125 or something on similar lines with a new brand name like Stryker 125. TVS K03/Drake will also be launched next year and it will be powered by a new engine that has been developed under the TVS-BMW agreement. This will be the most powerful TVS bike and should be launched by early 2016. TVS has reached the final stage of testing for this bike, as it is majorly being tested in Germany, back in BMW’s testing facility.
