Honda BR-V has been spotted by Autonetmagz and this new SUV that Honda will be launching in the price range of INR 9-14 lakhs (on-road). The Honda BR-V will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. The BR-V will have three rows of seating with seven seats.

The BR-V will be based on the Brio platform, but will be competing with the Tata Safari and the Mahindra Scorpio in terms of space. The BR-V will be a tad bigger than the Renault Duster. The BR-V will get features like keyless entry, push start and stop, integrated touchscreen system with satellite navigation, reverse parking camera, Bluetooth integration, steering mounted audio controls, ABS and dual airbags.

Honda-BR-V-Ind

The BR-V will be coming to India early next year, and will be another major product from the Japanese automaker.

The BR-V will be manufactured in India and the diesel will be first launched in India.

Honda is missing out its presence in the SUV segment at the moment. It has the CR-V, however that is only the petrol variant for the Indian car market. With the BR-V it will want to tap on the compact SUV segment and attract Honda loyalists to buy its SUV.

The City has been highly successful brand and the four generations have been the best-selling sedan.

The BR-V will be a unique offering as it will be a seven-seater. Honda will be showcasing the BR-V at the 2016 Auto Expo in Greater Noida.
