The on road price of the Mustang is under 1 Cr in India. In fact the ex-showroom is 74 lakhs. This makes it more affordable. The car has a 5.0-litre V8 that makes 392bhp and over 500Nm of torque. It’s got a drift setting, line-lock amongst other driving modes.

Nair’s Mustang has the custom numberplate with the number 303 to pay tribute to his iconic unbeaten triple hundred.

Award-winning Tamil actor Dhanush is best known for singing the viral hit song, ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’, which became the first Indian song to cross 100 million views on Youtube. Dhanush also has a Ford Mustang GT finished in shiny black paint job, the pony car looks badass.

Another Mustang connection with the viral song ‘Why This Kolaveri Di’ is composer Anirudh Ravichander. Ravichander composed the viral song for the movie 3 which marked his debut as a composer in the Tamil film industry.
