A fully camouflaged Tata Kite was spotted testing with none other that India’s first F1 driver, Narain Karthikeyan driving it.

It seems to be a production ready model as it bears projector headlamps, alloy wheels and bumpers.

These images were captured by carwale.com in Lonavala, during the testing. We at MotorOctane had earlier revealed the interiors of the Kite and also reported about the patented grill by Tata motors for the Kite, which is clearly visible in the pic. The car will also sport new 10-spoke alloy wheels in the top of the line variant.

The Kite is rumuored to have lot of part sharing with its siblings, the Zest and the Bolt. It will come with smaller engines than the others and is also likely to come in an AMT variant.

The Kite will be pitted agaist the Hyundai i10 Grand and the Maruti Suzuki Celerio.

These cars are even seen driven alongside the Kite, in the pictures. Narain Karthikeyan’s inputs would go a long way in fine tuning the car, especially in the driving dynamics department.
