As we can see in the images, there will be changes on the inside too. The interiors of the Duster facelift spotted are camouflaged, so there is a major upgrade too and this isn’t limited only to the music system.

The Duster will be sold with the same 1.6-litre petrol engine and the 1.5-litre diesel is likely to get a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission too. This will make it perform better than single-clutch and even return higher fuel-efficiency as well. Renault is serious about the Indian market and it is showing its commitment by working on the facelift version of the Duster. We believe the launch should be this year, maybe by November or December at the most. There is no mechanical change and so it won’t take Renault a lot of time to get this product as it has already been tried and tested. Maybe, the automatic will need some testing. The pricing of the Duster is likely to remain similar, even if there is hike, it won’t more than INR 10,000-25,000.
